EnergyEfficiency4HORECA
Increasing the uptake of energy efficiency measures within the HORECA value chain
Project
The EnergyEfficiency4HORECA project aims at increasing the adoption of energy efficiency measures and the use of renewable energy within the HORECA value chain (hotels, restaurants, catering), which is one of the energy-intensive sectors. The project activities include capacity building through workshops, webinars and a knowledge platform on energy efficiency. In addition, it offers the assistance of energy experts who accompany companies on their path to improving energy efficiency.
Mapping the value chain
Capacity Building
Focuses on mobilising actors across the HORECA value chain and strengthening their capacity to act on energy efficiency and sustainability.
To support this process, the project has developed a set of practical training materials based on its core outputs, including value-chain mapping, best practices, business models, and benchmarking tools.
Business Models and Benchmarks
Helping HORECA businesses understand how sustainability and energy efficiency can be embedded into their business models and daily operations.
Energy Efficiency Hub
