The EE4HORECA project focuses on capacity building through workshops, webinars, and a knowledge platform on energy efficiency, along with expert assistance to guide companies in improving their energy performance. It begins with a scoping study to better understand the HORECA value chain, including the interactions among different actors and the energy-saving opportunities available. This study will enhance the skills of energy technicians and other key staff within HORECA companies, helping them access public incentives and private financing.

The project targets SMEs to identify potential energy efficiency improvements and develop business models to promote the adoption of these measures. Training and energy advisory support will be provided based on the findings. Additionally, the project offers a variety of resources through the IMPAWATT platform, which provides free access to over 200 energy efficiency and renewable energy tools, helping companies assess their energy status, monitor consumption, and track sustainability progress.
